Therefore, every summer, a large number of pilgrims from major Tibetan areas and tourists from all over the world come to the foot of the sacred mountain to do kora. They believe they can finally get peace and happiness after kora around Kailash.

So if you are interested in feeling the pilgrimages, you can choose our 14 Day MT KAILASH KORA WITH MT EVEREST TOUR.

Plateau Trekking

If you love nature and like to challenge adventure places, hiking will be a good choice for you. Tibet has spectacular snow-capped mountains and amazing plateau grasslands, as well as some deep valleys and deserted places. Different terrains will bring different experiences to hiking. Some routes are smoother and most travelers can complete them successfully. However, other routes are more difficult and require a strong physical level to complete.

Among all trekking routes, No.1 is Mt.Kailash trekking, followed by Gama Valley Trekking, although both treks are very challenging.

Besides there are some moderate routes such as 9 DAYS GANDEN TO SAMYE TREK, which connects two ancient Tibetan Monasteries. You will cross mountains and river valleys, walk through plateau wetlands, visit villages and pastoral areas, and explore the original Brahmaputra River.

9 DAYS KULA KANGRI TREK is also recommended for being one of the introductory hiking routes in Tibet. It not only shows beautiful scenery but also has low difficulty. The biggest attractions of this route are the sacred mountains around Kula Kangri, sacred lakes and culture. >> See more about Tibet trekking tours

Winter Tours

Winter is a kind of slack season for Tibet tours as too many people are scared by the imaginary cold. But the truth is, the average temperature of Tibet in winter is about 12℃ and even higher in the daytime because of intensive sunlight. Winter is also a good season to enjoy the pure blue sky and sunbathe, especially when traveling to Lhasa, Shigatse, Lokha and Nyingchi areas.
