The ancient home of a high-ranking Tibetan lama, the Shambhala Palace is tucked into a secluded private lane within the narrow maze of Lhasa Old Town. The restoration was undertaken by a team of Tibetan artisans and is arguably the most exquisite heritage preservation yet undertaken by Shambhala. Consisting of 17 spacious rooms – four of which offer full views of the Potala Palace – each room offers luxury comfort amidst the splendor of ancient Tibet. The rooms overlook a courtyard with wall carvings by master carvings depicting the story of the mythic Shambhala kingdom and the twenty-five legendary kings of Shambhala.
