In addition to the mountainous terrain, there are many glacial lakes, valleys and other amazing landscapes in Tibet. With this awesome terrain, Tibet is considered to have the best hiking trail in the world.

The most popular trekking routes with maps are listed below. For the easy trekking route, Ganden to Samye trek or Tsurphu to Yangpachen trek is the best choice; for the picturesque hiking trail, Nyenchen Tanglha to Holy Lake-Namtso trek is highly recommended; for the challenging hiking route, Old Tingri to EBC and Mt. Kailash trek should be considered.

Lake Manasarovar Kora Trek
It takes four days to complete the 90-kilometer kora on foot. Pilgrims generally start from Jiwu Temple or Khor Township in the northwest corner and walk clockwise. You will not only enjoy picturesque scenery but also get moved by their devout faith.
Tsurphu to Yangpachen trekking map
Tsurphu to Yangpachen trekking trail is definitely very scenic which also lets you get acquainted with the indigenous Tibetan culture. The journey basically takes three days to complete and covers around 45 kilometers.
Shalu to Nartang Trek
Shalu to Nartang trek is the shortest trekking route, which will take 2 to 3 days to finish the trek(15 hours of walking). Trekking on this route can make you feel like tracing back to the past as you will hike past villages and dry canyons.
Gama Valley to EBC trekking route
Gama Valley is a beautiful valley with an altitude of more than 2000 meters to more than 5000 meters. It's the best-preserved and largest virgin forest in the Everest region. And you can see spectacular snow-capped Himalaya mountains during this trek.
Nyenchen Tanglha to Holy Lake-Namtso Trek
The Nyenchen Tanglha Mountain is located on the Qinghai-Tibet Highway from Dangxiong to Nagqu. It's the most famous mountain god in Tibet. In Tibetan folklore, the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountain and Namtso Lake are a lovely couple. From the Nagen Pass, there is a flat road, along this road you can reach the Tashi Peninsula by Namtso Lake.

Also which trekking should i choose? I dont want something easy whereby im lesiurly walking without excersie and moving my body and challenging it. But I know I dont weight lift so I would like a moderate hiking trekking adventure.
