Taking a flight into Tibet will give you a panorama of the snowy Himalaya Mountains or 1-2 days of train riding over the high plateau by crossing Tanggula Mountains with beautiful sceneries along the way. Once you arrive, our local Tibetan tour guide and driver will greet you at Lhasa Airport/Railway with a traditional Tibetan white scarf to wish you good luck! And then transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day you will be free to wander around the city on your own but try not to overtax yourself. The first day's well-rest is crucial to acclimatize to the high altitude. Remember to drink lots of water, eat light, and not have a shower if you can help it.

I plan to be in shanghai from 23/4/20 to 21/5/20. I would like to do a 6 day tibet tour but I will not get my china visa until 15/5/20 at the earliest (because I am in France and cannot apply for a Chinese visa until I return to the UK on 9/4/20). Will there be enough time to arrange Tibet permit etc if I want to travel to Tibet on 6/5/20? If so, should I book my flights now?

In your inquiry, you mentioned you would like to have a 6 Days Lhasa & Namtso Lake Group Tour. I guess you mean April 15 the earliest you can get your China visa, right? Usually, It requires 12 working days to get your Tibet permit and another 3 days to express it to Shanghai to you. We can expedite the process, but it depends on the situation in May. As far as I know, some guests obtain their China visas from where they are staying, but not in their own country. Can you please check the possibility with France consulate?

Hi we are keen to check if its possible for a private 6 days tour of Lhasa - Namtso for 4 adults? We are more keen for a private tour instead of the small group tour. Can you advise what will be the cost of the private tour? Also if we have longer time like 7-8 days, what private tour can your recommend on Lhasa? We will still like to see the holy lake and we do not need to go EBC. What can you suggest and what will the cost be like for 4 adults? Kind Regards, JL

Dear Travel Agency, my mum (age 61) has an important item on her bucket list- - to see Tibet. I would accompany her in 2020. As he ankle / knee is not in the best condition, could you pls offer a trip which contains less hiking, exclude longer excursions but contains some beauty spots to see from Tibet? If you can offer a good trip to us, will you be able to help also with flight possibilities and visa topics? We would travel from Germany OR Hungary. many thanks for your help in advance. Eszter

In your inquiry, you mentioned you would like to accompany your mum to realize her dream of Tibet. The 6 Days Lhasa & Namtso Lake Group Tour is fine. It includes Potala Palace, Jokhang temple, the landmark of Lhasa; Namtso lake, one of the three holy lakes in Tibet; Norbulinka, the summer palace of Dalai lama. All of these spots worth going. The way to Namtso is a bit longer, but we will drive you there, with little hiking. When do you plan to do this tour? We can book international and domestic flights for you. Do you identify a stopover city in China? For Tibet visa, we will handle it for you here in Lhasa. We need a copy of your passport and China tourist visa for application.  For your china tourist visa, please consult with your local Chinese consulate, how long in advance you can get a china visa and tell me the time. We can help you provide supporting documents. If you have any further questions or doubts please let me know without hesitation, it is my pleasure to work with you at any time.

Hi there, I would like to travel to Tibet in May 2020 with my wife. We currently live in Japan, and we are British citizens. I understand the following is the process to obtain entry into Tibet: 1. Obtain China visa, but not stating that we will go to Tibet. 2. get the Tibet permit 3. Book tour. Is this correct? Also what I don't understand is wherever the tour starts as soon as we arrive in Tibet? Would it be possible to stay in tibet for say 6 days, when the tour is only 4 days? Also would your company provide support for obtaining the visa and tibet permit?
