Asked Questions from our Clients

We will be flying from Sydney to Beijing first and stay there for three nights and would like to do 5-6 day tour in tibet. Kids are aged 10 and 14. We hold British passports. Do we need visa? Thanks

In your inquiry, you mentioned four of you would like to join the 6 Days Lhasa & Namtso Lake Group Tour. We have this tour with the departure date on Oct.5th.

You need to apply for the China Visa in advance at the Chinese Embassy in your home country. We will apply for the Tibet Travel Permit for you after you book the tour with us.

At 82 years old, I'm concerned about acclimating to a rather high altitude. We're planning a trip late October 2018 to early November 2018. Can you help with my concern?

In your inquiry, you mentioned that you would like to visit Tibet at the end of October. So far, we don’t have a set group including the Namtso lake during that time. I am afraid you have to have a private tour.

Regarding altitude sickness, We usually arrange first 2-3 days in Lhasa to adapt for the altitude. Most of the travelers will get used to it before heading to Everest. A good rest can help you stand up to the altitude sickness as long as you have no cardiovascular or respiratory disease. Besides, we always have the Oxygen tank in the vehicle for emergency use. Meanwhile, your experienced Tibetan guide will take measures according to different circumstances. We'll send you to the hospital if needed.

I cannot guarantee if it’s okay for you to visit Namtso (4720m). We have some elders did this tour before. But, it varies with different individuals. So, it's better to ask for the professional advice of your doctor.

Hi, Do you do 1 or 2 day tours to Namtso Lake? Thank you

In your inquiry, you asked if we do 1 or 2 days tour to Namtso. I am sorry, I didn’t get you well. Of course, we have tours to Namtso. But, what do you mean 1 or 2 days? You mean you only want to have two days tour in Tibet for visiting Namtso? Or, the whole tour in Tibet including 2 days to Namtso? Please advise.

We are travelling to China from 19th May to 29th June. We are interested in a 6 day trip to Tibet, around the second week of June. We would like to travel to Lhasa by train from Xian to Xining for 2 nights to help us acclimatise to altitude, then on to Lhasa and to return after the tour to Xining. Can you help us with booking trains and with travel permit to Tibet?

In your inquiry, you mentioned that there are two of you want to join our 6-day Lhasa & Namtso Lake Group Tour in June. Yes, we could help you with all the necessary Tibet Permits and book the train tickets from Xining to Lhasa. We have two set groups, one is on 4th. June, another is on 11th. June. Which one do you prefer?

Dear Sir or Madame,I am really interessted in doing a trip to Tibet. I am still in China and i would like to do a trip to tibet in July. My problem is i have just a student visa with a single entry. My question is if I enter tibet i thought i could book a flight to hongkong and after a few days in honkong i would fly back home to germany. but as far as i can see there are no non-stopp flights from Lahsa to Hongkong. And I need to konw if i am allowed to have a transit-stopp at a chinese airport again? Hopefully you can help me. Otherwise i think i am not able to do a trip to tibet.with kind regardsMax

Due to Tibet's unique background, apart from a Passport and a Chinese Visa, all foreign tourists allowed to enter Tibet must have Tibet Permits. We could surely get all your necessary permits to Tibet after your tour booked with us, we need your passport and China visa copies to apply for them before the tour starts. If you have a student visa, you need to provide a School certificate for applying for your Tibet permits. Please find the sample in the attachment. Could you send your Student visa and Passport copies to me by email?

As Tibet belongs to China, so you can enter Tibet from a China city, then fly back to Hongkong transit-stop at a Chinese airport again.

For our 6 days Lhasa & Namtso Lake Group Tour, it needs at least people to book if there is no traveler booked. Unfortunately, there is no traveler book this tour in July so far. So I recommend you join our 6 days Lhasa Gyantse Shigatse Group Tour in July,
