Lhasa Highlights Short Tour

Taking a flight into Tibet will give you a panorama of the snowy Himalaya Mountains, or 1-2 days of train riding over the high plateau by crossing the Tanggula Mountains with beautiful scenery along the way. Once you arrive, our local Tibetan tour guide and driver will greet you at Lhasa Airport/Railway with a traditional Tibetan white scarf to wish you good luck! And then transfer you to the hotel.

After that, we will visit Norbulingka, a traditional Tibetan-style royal garden and the former summer residence of the Dalai Lama. The garden is filled with towering trees, vibrant flowers, and a wide variety of plants, along with valuable cultural relics such as Buddha statues, pagodas, thangkas, and murals. Its lush greenery and relatively higher oxygen levels also make it an ideal place for newcomers to gently adapt to the high altitude in Lhasa.

午前中、ガイドがホテルのロビーでお待ちし、まずチベットの象徴であり、チベット建築の傑作である有名なポタラ宮をご案内します。7世紀にソンツェン・ガンポ王によって最初に建てられ、17世紀に5世ダライ・ラマによって再建されました。現在は博物館であり、世界遺産に登録されています。 

午後は、ラサ旧市街の中心にあるジョカン寺を訪れます。ジョカン寺はチベットで最も神聖な寺院であり、昔から熱心な地元の巡礼者でいつも賑わっています。その後、バルコール通りを散策します。ここは最も信仰深い巡回路の一つであり、同時にラサの賑やかな中心市場でもあります。バルコール通りはジョカン寺を取り囲む非常に古い円形の通りで、地元の人々はいつもこれを誇りに思っています。ラサのシンボルとして、訪問者にとっても必見の場所です。
