Lhasa Highlights Short Tour

Taking a flight into Tibet will give you a panorama of the snowy Himalaya Mountains, or 1-2 days of train riding over the high plateau by crossing the Tanggula Mountains with beautiful scenery along the way. Once you arrive, our local Tibetan tour guide and driver will greet you at Lhasa Airport/Railway with a traditional Tibetan white scarf to wish you good luck! And then transfer you to the hotel.

After that, we will visit Norbulingka, a traditional Tibetan-style royal garden and the former summer residence of the Dalai Lama. The garden is filled with towering trees, vibrant flowers, and a wide variety of plants, along with valuable cultural relics such as Buddha statues, pagodas, thangkas, and murals. Its lush greenery and relatively higher oxygen levels also make it an ideal place for newcomers to gently adapt to the high altitude in Lhasa.

아침에 가이드가 호텔 로비에서 만나서 먼저 유명한 포탈라 궁전을 방문할 거예요. 티베트의 상징적인 랜드마크이자 티베트 건축의 걸작이죠. 7세기에 33대 왕 송첸 감포가 처음 건설했고, 17세기에 5대 달라이 라마가 재건했어요. 지금은 박물관이자 세계문화유산이에요. 

오후에는 라싸 구도시 중심에 있는 조캉 사원을 방문할 거예요. 조캉 사원은 티베트에서 가장 성스러운 사원으로, 예로부터 진지한 현지 순례자들로 항상 북적였어요. 그 후, 가장 신성한 순례로 중 하나이자 라싸의 번화한 중심 시장인 바르코르 거리를 산책할 거예요. 바르코르 거리는 조캉 사원을 둘러싼 아주 오래된 원형 거리로, 현지인들은 항상 이곳을 자랑스러워해요. 라싸의 상징으로, 방문객들에게도 꼭 가봐야 할 곳이죠.
