Na het inchecken kun je even ontspannen, afhankelijk van je aankomsttijd, of maak je een ontspannen wandeling langs de waterkant bij je hotel.
Overnachting in Kochi
Verken Fort Kochi, de historische wijk aan het water, bewonder de iconische Chinese vissersnetten en bezoek de Sint-Franciscuskerk en de Santa Cruz-basiliek om het koloniale erfgoed van Kochi te ontdekken. Ga verder naar het Mattancherry Paleis en Jew Town om meer te leren over de koninklijke geschiedenis en het Joodse erfgoed van Kochi terwijl je door de charmante historische straatjes wandelt.
's Avonds geniet je van een traditionele Kathakali-dansvoorstelling, bekend om de uitgebreide kostuums, expressieve gebaren en dramatische verhalenvertelling.
Overnachting in Kochi
After breakfast, drive from Kochi to Munnar, a scenic hill station in the Western Ghats. As you leave the coastal plains behind, the landscape gradually changes to rolling hills, lush forests, and expansive tea plantations. Stop along the way at Cheeyappara Waterfall and Valara Waterfall to admire the natural beauty of Kerala’s highlands.
Upon arrival in Munnar, check in to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy some free time to admire the surrounding tea plantations and mountain scenery or take a leisurely walk.

After breakfast, visit the Tea Museum to learn about Munnar’s tea-growing history, traditional processing methods, and the development of the local tea industry.
Continue to Mattupetty Dam, where you can enjoy scenic views of the reservoir surrounded by lush green hills. Then proceed to Echo Point, known for its distinctive echo effect and beautiful lake and mountain scenery. Along the way, admire Munnar’s rolling tea plantations and the picturesque landscapes of the Western Ghats.
Stay overnight in Munnar
After breakfast, drive from Munnar to Periyar National Park, enjoying the scenic mountain and forest landscapes of the Western Ghats along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy a boat cruise on Periyar Lake, where you can admire the tranquil waters and surrounding forests while looking out for wildlife along the lake’s shores.
After your visit, continue to Thekkady and check in to your hotel. If time permits, visit a local Spice Plantation to learn about the cultivation of cardamom, pepper, and other spices that are important to Kerala’s agricultural heritage.

After breakfast, drive from Thekkady to Alleppey, known for its peaceful backwaters, winding canals, and traditional Kerala houseboats.
Upon arrival, board a traditional Kerala houseboat and begin your Alleppey Houseboat experience. Glide along palm-lined canals and lakes, passing riverside villages and green paddy fields while observing the daily life of local communities. Met mij gaat het goed, dank je. Het bleek een geweldige reis te zijn. Ik had twee uitstekende gidsen en de chauffeur. Vooral omdat Lakdun (ik weet niet hoe ik haar naam moet spellen) me op het vliegveld hielp toen mijn vlucht werd geannuleerd. Het is misschien ook interessant voor je te weten dat ....
