W would like to travel in August and we can stay for 10-15 days. 4 star accommodation with breakfast and lunch or dinner. We would start from Beijing. I am worried about altitude. I have been told that I should go up slowly (aprox 200 meters per day) Is this trip designed to do so? What will it cost? thank you M. Vittoria

Dear M. Vittoria Barone,

Thank you for sending us an inquiry! Don’t worry about the altitude too much. We usually arrange first 2-3 days in Lhasa to adapt for the altitude. A good rest can help you stand up to the altitude sickness as long as you have no cardiovascular or respiratory disease.

arrive in beijing from singapore and start tour

Dear nicholas,

Happy to hear that you are interested in taking our 7 Days Beijing Lhasa Train Tour with Namtso, I will email you the price of it soon.

Beijing to Lhasa by train I would like a price please for 2 people for the return train journey with only two nights spent in Lhasa I don't want to spend too much time at such high altitude and the purpose of my journey is to see the scenery from the train. I don't have much interest in temples, when you,ve seen one you have seen them all as far as I am concerned. A mid range 3 star type hotel would be fine. I intend to travel to Beijing from Moscow on the trans Siberian express therefore if you arrange travel on this please give me prices if you can. I am free at any time of the year so perhaps you could also advise a good month to travel and also the cheapest? Kind regards Alan

Dear Alan, we could help you book your round-trip train tickets for Beijing-Lhasa-Beijing.

I’d like to design you a 3 Days Lhasa Cultural Tour according to your preference, I will send you the train info and tour itinerary shortly by email.

Hi, My partner and I are interested in the 'BEIJING LHASA TRAIN TOUR'. you please let us know if there are any available bookings on the above tour and the dates that those tours are available in September. Also could you please inform us of the cost per person. Kind regards, Adam.

About the tour you are interested in, is the private tour, which the cost is a little more expensive but the date of departure is up to your schedule. Also, the Day 6 in the private tour itinerary is pressed for time. So would you mind to add 1 more day and join in our group tour, which can lower your budget and the itinerary is similar with the private one. And there are 3 existing group tours on our tour calendar and the dates of departure are on 16th, 21th, 30th of Sep.
