This is a trip to take you from Lhasa to the west of Tibet, Nagri and then return to Lhasa. 2-day Lhasa sightseeing lets you have a general understanding of the history of Tibet, the humanities and the lives of the local people. And then you will head to the world's highest peak, the Mount Everest via Gyangze, Shigatse, and Tingri. The last but not least, you will reach the Mt.Kailash. Kailash in Tibetan means the treasure of the snow-capped mountain. Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism, Bon - native religion in Tibet and Jainism recognize it as the center of the world. Indians also think that this is the center of the world. They think Shiva lives here, who has the strongest mana and the highest position. At the same time, the upper reaches of the Indus and the Ganges originates from here. So, around the Mt.Kailash, you can see a large number of Indian pilgrims. Mt.Kailash is not the highest mountain in the area, but only the peak of its year-round snow can shine with a strange light in the sun shining, eye-catching eyes. The distribution of the four walls of the peak is very sharp symmetry, the shape of the crown pyramid. The special mountain shape is very different from the surrounding mountains. For centuries, the Mt.Kailash has been a fascinating place in the minds of pilgrims and explorers, but no one has ever been able to board the mountain, or no one has ever dared to break the center of the world.

Dear Violet, we were in contact in late 2018 about a Everest-Kailash trekking tour. Now i need to make a decision about the date and the agency to join. Therefore I want to ask you some questions: - In European medias there were reports that chinese goverment did not give tibet Permits to western tourists. So is it possible at all to travel this summer to tibet? - Did you fix an Everest base camp / Mt Kailash Hiking tour I could join in July? I plan a date around 4th, 5th, 6th of July - but I might be flexible. - How much is it to join this tour? Thanks for all your effords and greetings Gerald, Aodili

Saga Dawa Festival will be celebrated on the 17th of June, 2019. To attend the Saga Dawa Festival, you can visit Tibet between June 8 to June 26, 2019. Currently, we have Mt.Everest & Mt.Kailash Kora Pilgrimage Group Tour starting on June 10th. Mt.Kailash is a major celebrating spot of Saga Dawa Festival.

I will quote you after you confirm this tour. By the way, could you please let me know which hotel class you prefer?

For your other questions, I would answer you one by one.

Can I stay one day in Lhasa, before the tour is starting without a guide?

During Saga Dawa Festival, all the checking would be extremely strict. So there should be a tour guide to accompany you on your free day. Or your Tibet Travel Permit can't be approved for one more day without a tour guide.

and is it possible to go after the tour to Namtso for 2 days and to Saga for 3 or 4 days trekking?

Yes. Going to Namtso Lake can be arranged as a private tour. But the cost would be higher than the group tour cost.

For Saga, it's in the itinerary of this 15-day tour. You will go to Saga and have a kora trekking around holy mountain Kailash.

Can you also provide the train ticket vom Xining to Lhasa?

Yes. it's very hard to purchase the tickets.  It's almost impossible for both you and us to get tickets on the internet, so we have to get the ticket from ticket scalper by paying them very high handing fee(we will charge this fee from clients) to guarantee the ticket for you, we have NO profit at all to book any flight/train tickets for clients, we provide tickets booking service and just want our travelers could get into and out of Lhasa easily after tour book with us.
