As we try to bring you the best tour experience, the double room of Rongbuk Monastery guesthouse will be our first choice for you to stay overnight there. However, there are limited numbers of those rooms, which are not accepted a reservation in advance, especially during the peak tourist season. Thus, when the standard rooms run out, we would arrange all the group members to stay in the multiple bedded rooms of Rongbuk Monastery or the nomad tent at EBC tent area. Both of them provide dorm beds only. If you don’t want to share the room with others, you could pay the price difference of the vacant beds.

* All members of the same group must be with the same tour guide during the whole trip. So all members must follow the same itinerary and visit the same attractions. If anyone requests to change the scheduled arrangement for own reasons, you need to get permission from other members and accept the possible payment change if any.

In your inquiry, you mentioned you would like to have the 7 Days Lhasa Mt. Everest Kathmandu Overland Group Tour with the departure date on May.20th.

May I know how many people would like to have this group tour? We can't open this group tour to a solo traveler. As a solo traveler, I suggest you join the same group tour with the departure date on May.25th.

The 4-star hotel we use in Lhasa is the Shangbala Hotel.

It is about 6-hour driving distance from Gyirong border to Kathmandu. You will arrive at Kathmandu in the evening. I suggest you fly back to your home country the next day.

Tibet Travel Permit:

(1)If you take a train to Lhasa, usually you just a copy of TTP to abroad the train to Lhasa.

(2) If you take a flight to Lhasa, you need the original Tibet Travel Permit to check in at the airport. We will send the original Tibet Travel Permit to your hotel in mainland China by express. It takes 3~5 days.
