From Nepal to Tibet, you are required to apply for China Group Visa at China embassy in Nepal with our assistance even if you have had China Visa already. After you book your Tibet tour with us, we will send an official invitation letter for you to our partner in Kathmandu. After your arrival in Kathmandu, our Nepali partner will meet you for your original passport. With invitation letter, your original passport and one photo(passport photo size with white background), our Nepali partner could help you get your China Group Visa there within 3 working days. So if you arrive in Kathmandu on August 2nd, we will get China group visa for you on August 6th.

So how about having this 10 days Lhasa Gyantse Shigatse Everest Namtso Group Tour on August 8th?

We are hoping to see temples in Tibet of the Nyingma tradition and also other sacred sites in Tibet (or Nepal). One of us has American citizenship and the other German citizenship. We can do moderately rigorous hiking. We are also fine sleeping and traveling in somewhat rustic conditions. Unfortunately, the only time we can go is between March and May. Thank you for any help you can provide locating a good guide, creating an itinerary or making arrangements for transportation/accommodations/visas.

Due to Tibet's unique background, apart from a Passport and a Chinese Visa, all foreign tourists allowed to enter Tibet must have Tibet Permits. However, Tibet Permits will not be issued for all tours from mid-February to March. So how about having this Tibet tour in May, 2019?

For visiting Nyingma tradition in Tibet, I suggest you visit Mindrolling Monastery and Duojizha Temple which located on Tsetang area. Although Samye Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Trandruk temple become the comprehensive monasteries with a variety of sects now, there is an unswerving common view in the majority of pilgrim that these three monasteries are the ancestor Nyingma sect in Tibet, and have a great status of Nyingma sect.

Shall we divide this private tour into 2 parts? 10 days Lhasa Gyantse Shigatse Everest Namtso Group Tour plus 2 days Lhasa Tsetang private tour. Here is the brief itinerary,
