Thus, when the standard rooms run out, we would arrange all the group members to stay in the multiple bedded rooms of Rongbuk Monastery or the nomad tent at EBC tent area. Both of them provide dorm beds only. If you don’t want to share the room with others, you could pay the price difference of the vacant beds.

* All members of the same group must be with the same tour guide during the whole trip. So all members must follow the same itinerary and visit the same attractions. If anyone requests to change the scheduled arrangement for own reasons, you need to get permission from other members and accept the possible payment change if any.

I'd like to go on the Lhasa Gyantse Shigatse Everest Namtso Group Tour. 4 star hotels if they are available otherwise I'm ok with 3 star. I'm travelling by myself so I'd prefer joining a group to keep cost down, but would consider a private tour if the price is right.

We, a group of friends of 4 are interested to organise a trip to Tibet in coming year end. Do you have any tours in Nov or Dec? Is it a good season to visit Tibet. We are Malaysian and please guide the easiest way to access to Tibet. Waiting for your reply. Thank you.

In your inquiry, you mentioned four of you would like to have the 10 Days Lhasa Gyantse Shigatse Everest Namtso Group Tour starting on Nov.13th. There is no Namtso Lake tour from November to the next April. Namtso Lake is frozen at that time. If it snows, the road to Namtso Lake will be closed. We have 8 Days Lhasa Gyantse Shigatse Mt. Everest Group Tour with the departure date on Nov.14th. Is it available to you? Generally speaking, from April to October is the best time to travel to Tibet. But it is okay for you to have an Everest Base Camp tour in Mid November.

We (my son and I - Australian citizens) would like to take a 10 day Lhasa Gyantse Shigatse Everest Namtso Group Tour starting either on 14 or 21 October. Do you have vacancies for these dates? Which date is better (weather, access, etc.)? Are these tours confirmed (we will be flying in from Singapore, so early confirmations are essential for us)? Could you organise all necessary permits? can you advise about equipment, clothing, etc.?

Dean

In your inquiry, you mentioned that you would like to take a 10 day Lhasa Gyantse Shigatse Everest Namtso Group Tour starting either on 14 or 21 October.  Yes, we can arrange this tour for you on either date.

As for your questions, I would like to answer one by one,
1. Do you have vacancies for these dates?
Yes, we can open this tour for you as long as you can confirm your booking 3-month prior so that we have time to recruit other travelers.

2. Which date is better (weather, access, etc.)?
If you ask me to choose, I would like to suggest you come on Oct.14, because the weather is getting colder in late October, and the road there could be blocked due to bad weather.

3. Are these tours confirmed (we will be flying in from Singapore, so early confirmations are essential for us)?
Currently the tour with departing on Oct.14th or 21st. are not fixed. If you prefer the dates, could you please confirm your booking at least 3-month prior to fixing it?

4. Could you organize all the necessary permits?
Yes, we will handle all the necessary Tibet permits for you after you book a tour with us. We offer this service as a free of charge. What you need to do is to send us a copy of your passport and China Visa by email if you will enter Tibet from mainland China.

5. Can you advise about equipment, clothing, etc.?
In October, you will feel warm and cozy in the daytime. While at night, the temperature could drop down to minus 17 Celsius and you need to take great care of the strong wind. Though the clothing depends largely on your physical tolerance, there are certain clothes you are suggested to take along with you when you travel to EBC in Tibet.
