What is the best gateway to enter Tibet? - The
main gateway to enter Tibet is mainland of China and Kathmandu of Nepal
- The
gateway cities from mainland of china: Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Xi'an, Guangzhou,
Chongqing, Zhongdian/Shangri-la. There are several flights fly between Chengdu
and Lhasa every day, it is one of the best gateway to enter Tibet. There is one
( two in peak season) flghts fly to Lhasa from Beijing.

is daily flight between Kathmandu and Lhasa of Tibet every April to October, and
flights on every Saturday from November to next April.

3.What's
the best season to visit Tibet? Due
to the altitude and weather, it is best season to travel in Tibet from every July
to September. Considering
bothe the travel situation and weather, it is good choice to visit Tibet from
April to June and later October to November. During this period, the weather is
OK and at the same time the guide, accommodation, vehicles are not as tight as
in July to September. The quality will be well guaranteed. If
you just visit in Lhasa, Nyingchi or Tsedang area, it is available all around
the year.
