When you travel in Tibet; do you know what you need to take during your tour? there are some tips I recommend to you as follows:
If you just have tour to the place like Lhasa, Shigatse, Tsedang; you don't need to provide the special equipment only the daily commodity required. Please find out the below list as the daily commodity which is required to be prepared for your Tibet tour:
Since the ultraviolet radiation in Tibet is strong; sun cream with the high protection index is necessary. Sunglasses with a sun protection function, the lip creams; towel, a Tibetan map is also helpful.
As for the clothes for traveling; if you travel in Tibet from May to September, the weather here is warm; it is about 15-25 degrees during the daytime in Lhasa, Shigatse, Tsedang area and a little cool at night. A jacket is enough. In other places; such as Agril, Naqu( the altitude is higher); you need to take more warm and the easy-taking clothes.
Jacket: a fiber-pile jacket is ideal for evening.
Sweater: Wool or wool mix with a high neck for extra warmth.
If you travel in Tibet from October to December or from December to April; you need to take more warm clothes with you, such as duck down clothes, overcoat.
Headwear: you can easily buy inexpensive broad brimmed straw and felt hats in Tibet's city markets; especially around the Barkhor Street.
Scarf: wool or silk is OK.
Mittens or gloves: wool is best.
Socks: at least three pairs.
Sporting shoes or comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended for all weather.
Camera: please do not forget to take it.
Binoculars: Good for observing birds, wildlife, and distant scenery.
